Our client is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their expanding and dynamic team. Role Summary The Developer will be involved in all aspects of application development process (i.e. requirement acquisition, analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment and support) and be must able to work from a basic business specification to design and build applications using the relevant technologies. They must have a proven track record of creating business applications using the languages and software tools listed below. Good communication and customer focus skills are essential. The Developer will have excellent Microsoft SQL Server and .Net skills and can write new and extend existing applications from a basic specification. Key Responsibilities - To develop database applications and reports for the business ensuring business requirements are met - To provide support and guidance in taking requirements through discussion with internal customers and to ensure development is planned and effectively delivered. - To guide and support non-technical customers with requirements determination and implementation of new applications. - To provide ongoing support for existing and new applications developed in-house. - To provide relevant training on developed applications. - To use the most robust and efficient technology/development appropriate for each development undertaken - To maintain regular contact with all areas and levels of the business. - Be competent in testing applications and devising testing strategies. - Ensure knowledge is kept up-to-date with all relevant technologies by undertaking own research and personal study Person Specification

Essential Competencies:
Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL for SQL Server (2000, 2005 & 2008)) – To a high developer level with a good understanding of the Microsoft SQL Server architecture.
Microsoft ASP .Net 2.0, 3.5, (VB.Net and/or C#.Net)
SSIS (Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services)
